Gordon,

I googled Gordon Mills Farm Scotland, and this is the first link. Since you live in the northeast of Scotand, have you heard of such a place? I'm doing some genealogy research, and it looks like my grandfather lived there when he was little. Do you know where it is? He seemed to live around Fodderty, Alness, Dingwall, Kiltearn and Rosskeen.

Thanks and good luck with the fishing and all. It's cold here in Indiana, too.

TFG, honestly that forklift scares the life out of me. The container in the pic weighs 12 metric tonnes and is 45 feet long. You can see how mush it's swaying. I have to lift bigger ones that are 60feet long and weigh 16tonnes. I doubt the hard hat would save me if something went wrong:-0
Really enjoying the new job though;-)

Hi Gordon,

I DID see it swaying! ;/
Quite nerve racking, I'm sure. Still, fun, in a way?! Talk about paying attention to detail (and physics)!!!! ;D

Sally,
I've not done any overseas genealogy, but you could give these sites a try:

Hi HGF, I've been in touch with Sally about her search. The place and farm name was actually Gordon's Mill Farm at a wee place up north called Dingwall.
Are'nt I clever;-)

ah, now I know who to go to with my 'Scottish' locale questions; not to mention 'where to fish' questions... ;)
