I am led to believe that there are pike in nearby Loch Bad an Scalaig but have never fished it.
Regards, Gordon.Gordon Millshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07362057254870083925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6491754144461450466.post-56834890827162895802011-10-07T15:25:52.661-07:002011-10-07T15:25:52.661-07:00Really enjoyed this and the photo's .The cooki...Really enjoyed this and the photo's .The cooking my mouth is watering.I have just come back from Gairloch and spent a wet friday afternoon around loch maree,it looked beatiful.Just a question is there any pike fishing available after the game season is over ?

Cheers

MarkMark Hnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6491754144461450466.post-71066130956930457572011-08-06T12:55:59.334-07:002011-08-06T12:55:59.334-07:00I'm an American school teacher, writer, and ar...I'm an American school teacher, writer, and artist. I ran across your blog while looking for information about Isle Maree. I was in Scotland last summer and went to Loch Maree particularly to do research for a book I'm about to finish. I'd have moved there permanently if I could.
I really enjoyed your blog and your pictures.
I didn't get to see the island. Really wish I could have. But I did get to see Slioch and the Loch Maree Hotel. And loved the valley.

I hope to go back some day.

Teresa ReasorTeresa Reasor https://www.blogger.com/profile/18204579039577235727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6491754144461450466.post-63731769094122473682011-03-16T04:13:18.568-07:002011-03-16T04:13:18.568-07:00wonderful trip.
